1. Who we are
NextMove is an early-access vehicle decision platform based in Greece. We help buyers, sellers and drivers make smarter vehicle decisions through AI-assisted matching and verified listings.
Data controller: NextMove · Contact: hello@nextmove.gr
2. What data we collect and why
We collect only the data necessary to operate the platform:
- Email address — to notify you when listings matching your profile go live, and to communicate early access updates. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Vehicle preferences (budget, fuel type, city, timeline) — collected through our quiz and AI assistant to personalise your experience. Legal basis: performance of a service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Name and phone — only if you voluntarily provide them through our community form. Legal basis: your consent.
- Conversation data — messages you send to our AI assistant (Hunter) are processed to generate responses. Conversation context is stored temporarily to improve response quality within a session.
- Technical data — standard browser data (IP address, browser type) collected automatically for security and performance. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We use the following third-party processors:
- Supabase Inc. (USA) — database and authentication. Data stored in EU-West region (Paris). DPA in place.
- Anthropic PBC (USA) — AI processing for our Hunter assistant. Messages are processed to generate responses and are subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. Anthropic does not use your conversations to train models without consent.
- Netlify Inc. (USA) — website hosting and form processing. Standard contractual clauses in place for EU data transfers.
- Cloudinary Inc. (USA) — photo storage for vehicle listings. Images you upload are stored securely.
All transfers to third countries outside the EU/EEA are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses as required by GDPR Art. 46.
4. How long we keep your data
- Waitlist and quiz submissions: until you request deletion or 24 months from collection, whichever is sooner.
- Hunter conversation context: session only — not stored permanently after your browser session ends.
- Technical logs: 90 days maximum.
5. Your rights under GDPR
Under Greek Law 4624/2019 and EU GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any right, email hello@nextmove.gr. We will respond within 30 days as required by law.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) at www.dpa.gr.
6. Cookies
We use the following cookies in accordance with Greek Law 3471/2006 (ePrivacy) and the EU Cookie Directive:
- sm_lang — stores your language preference (EN/GR). Session functional cookie. No expiry.
- nm_launch_count — tracks the launch offer counter locally. No personal data. 30-day expiry.
- nm_banner_dismissed — remembers if you closed the launch banner. No personal data.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
7. AI assistant (Hunter)
Our AI assistant Hunter is powered by Claude, developed by Anthropic PBC — one of the world's leading AI safety companies. Claude is used by millions of users globally and is designed with safety, honesty and privacy as core principles.
When you interact with Hunter, your messages are sent to Anthropic's API over an encrypted connection for processing. Anthropic processes this data under their privacy policy and does not use your conversations to train their models without explicit consent. We do not store full conversation transcripts — only the summary data you choose to provide (email, budget preference, vehicle intent).
Hunter does not make automated decisions with legal or significant effects. All recommendations are advisory. You are always free to disregard Hunter's advice.
